A beautiful antique rug, handwoven in Tehran circa 1900 with a large vase design on an ivory field and dark blue border. A truly fabulous design with all manner of flora and fauna (even a pair of elephants!) and lovely secondary colours. A little wear adds to it’s unique charm.
Size: 2.03m x 1.32m (6ft 8in x 4ft 4in)
This rug is in original condition with overall moderate wear. The fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
