This elegant Persian carpet is an ideal piece for a smart drawing room. The quality is fine, and the design of repeating floral shrubs flows elegantly from the field into the border,quite a rare feature in Persian carpet design. The carpet has the 'feel' of a fine textile which one places on the floor. The high knot count and low clipped pile gives the design great definition. very few colours have been used, again to add to the discreet formality and elegance of this very attractive example of Persian carpet art from the revival Period at the beginning of the 20th century. Professionally cleaned and ready for immediate use.
