Description

This is a beautiful hand woven warm woollen Kashgai carpet which dates from around 1920. The Kashgai has a bright and attractive colour palette of rust red, deep indigo blue, ivory and cinnamon. The design has a triple lozenge in a warm rust field and deep quintuple borders. The carpet has a beautifully soft handle and looks wonderful down. In excellent condition throughout, this measures 317 cms by 233 cms so is a good room size. It would add great warmth and character to any living space.
