This is a good antique Malayer runner dating from around 1890.

The runner is in excellent order for its age with no damage or repairs and has a lovely design with five gul medallions to the centre surrounded by floral motifs in the soft coral ground. This is in lovely soft wool with a good even pile overall and no wear.

The runner measures 500 cms in length by 83 cms wide.
