French Regency Style Mahogany Dressing Table

Description

Super quality French c19th mahogany and Carrara marble top dressing table with original mercury mirror plate.

Good decorative dressing table but practical too with a good size full width drawer and working lock and key too.

Well carved swan necks to the adjustable mirror and these fabulous shaped legs and original castors too..

The marble top is original and a great piece of typical Carrara marble which has been carved out to create the inner lip so that when this was used as a "washstand" it would catch spillages.

The mirror comes off the dressing table base for ease of moving.

Height 54" / 137cm

Width 33" / 84cm

Depth 17 1/2" / 44cm

Marble table top height 29 3/4" or 75.5cm

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
