Antique Jaf Kurd Saddle Bag Face, Large Size, Thick Long Pile, Circa 1900.

Description

Size: 3ft 5in x 2ft 6in (105 x 76cm).

Antique Jaf Kurd bag face of diamond lattice design with good colour and thick long pile.

Circa 1900.

The bag face is well drawn with a hooked medallion lattice, the bag has a floral rosette design main border and a diamond inner border on a yellow ground. Note the single white diamond in the center of the bag.

The bag face is in outstanding condition with slight even wear and good thick long pile. Note the decorative panel at the lower end. The bag face is of large size.

The bag face has been hand washed and is ready for display.
