A richly coloured perfect condition old Heriz rug from North-West Persia, dating from around 1930. A beautiful and decorative 90 year old rug ideal for an entrance hall or sitting in front of a fire in a living room. A lovely soft dense wool pile, we have professionally cleaned this rug and it is ready to be used on the floor.
Heriz carpets and rugs are famous for their durability and are one of the toughest antique rugs due to the good quality wool that was used. They are still extremely popular today, and can be used in an traditional home with exposed beams for example as well as a more modern home with contemporary furniture and paintings.
