Description

Size: 5ft 1in x 4ft 3in (155 x 130cm).

Old Turkish Bergama rug of traditional village design.

Circa 1920.

The rug has a traditional box design with the central area in green, each box is filled with a star or other device. The border is ivory ground with a repeat design.

The rug retains original kilim at both ends.

The rug is in excellent condition with slight wear and good pile.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
