Description

This is a very charming small Shiraz rug form South Persia, dating to around 1890. Hand-spun wool and natural dyes, the design is full of geometric ornamentation. Note the very subtle apricot colour in the field. Lovely soft wool, even wear throughout. Generally good condition. Professionally cleaned and ready for immediate use. Shiraz rugs are ever popular and can enhance many settings.
