Description

This is a good room size antique carpet dating from around 1900. The carpet has an attractive all over design of flowers and vines in a blood red field which are enclosed by warm ivory borders. It is in good useable order with areas of low pile to the centre consistent with its age. The carpet retains a good strength of colour to the hand woven design which has fine detail. It is a good room size measuring 320 cms by 210 cms.
