Size: 6ft 11in x 5ft 3in (210 x 160cm).

Antique Caucasian Lori Pambak rug of traditional bold design with outstanding colours.

Circa 1880.

This is a good example of the classic Lori Pambak Kazak design, the bold central ivory ground quatrefoil medallion containing the totemic symbol of two opposed birds with crested heads. The large octagons at either end of the rug are made up of a bird head latch hook design with large stars to the centre. The field is a glorious deep red. The main ivory ground border is typical of Lori Pambak rugs.

The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and medium pile.

The rug is suitable for light domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.

A superb collectable rug offered in true showroom condition.
