Description

A very attractive Victorian burr walnut '‘Duchess’' dressing table. The moulded and oval shaped mirror has well carved and pierced supports leading to a shallow concave drawer flanked by 2 banks of 2 bow fronted drawers and all retaining the original turned pulls. The shaped top having a chamfered edge and rounded corners with a frieze drawer below and is supported on very good turned, fluted and gadrooned front legs joined to the concave base with brass and white porcelain casters. Condition- very good with a slight blemish to the mirror plate viewable in the photos. Dimensions:- Max.Height…64.75’’/164.5cm. Width…48’’/ 122cm. Depth…21.5’’/ 54.5cm.
