Description

This is a fine example of a Heriz or Karadja carpet, probably woven circa 1890. Lovely balance of colours, notably a very attractive light blue, as seen in the anchors and spandrels. The border is particularly well drawn. Very good condition, with original ends and sides intact. Professionally cleaned.
