Antique Baluch Bag Face with Tile Design, Circa 1900.

Description

Size: 1ft 10in x 1ft 10in (57 x 55cm).

Antique Baluch saddle bag face with 'tile' design.

Circa 1900.

The saddle bag is of well known 'tile' design. The bag face has superb soft glossy wool and a very floppy handle. The bag face retains the original end finishes with very fine detailed weft work decoration.

The saddle bag face is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile, there is some wear through use to the side bindings.

The bag face has been hand washed and is ready for display.
