William Stephen Coleman ,1829-1904 ,her brother was a figure painter and illustrator.He worked at Mintons Art Pottery and designed many tiles and plates for them.He also illustrated many books including ‘Natural History Picture Book for Children ‘1861 and’Our Garden Friends’1863-64.Works by him are in the V&A Museum and Glasgow Art Gallery.’Still Life with Apple Blossoms in a Vase’ signed by both artists.
