A high wool pile on this richly coloured and vibrant antique Heriz rug from Northern Persia, dating from the early 20th century.  Woven with gorgeous blue, red and green dyes with an amazing variety,  we can even see speckled detailing on the leaves which adds to the depth of the rugs colour palette.  Woven with a rare stylised tree of life design, which is unusual for Heriz rugs the weaver has created a stunning design using amazing colours.

Condition wise: the wool pile is very thick and high all over, with no large repairs just one small area on one corner has been repaired a long time ago, but it is hardly noticeable.  We have professionally washed this rug and it is ready to be used.
