A beautiful and fine antique 'Ahar' Heriz carpet woven at the turn of the century with gorgeous colours and in amazing full pile.  Ahar Heriz carpets are woven in the town of the name Ahar close to Heriz and are finer, often more intricate and curvilinear in design.  The ivory corner spandrels really lift the palette and it has a great variety of greens, reds, and blues. The condition is very good all over with a soft wool dense pile.  We have professionally washed this carpet and it is a fabulous antique carpet from ideal for a many rooms as it would add a lot of warmth and character.
