Description

This is a good room size Kirman with a lovely colour palette dating from around 1925. The carpet has a very attractive design with a duck egg blue field of angular vines around a central flower head medallion which is framed by coral spandrels and indigo borders. These are flanked by meandering vine guard stripes. There are shades of soft raspberry, pale blue, mustard, teal and ivory to the fine detail in the design. The carpet is in very good order overall and a great size measuring 325 cms by 258 cms.
