A fine Persian Senneh kilim with a traditional medallion design and herati to the field.
Circa 1900.
This is a good Senneh kilim with the overall design being the classic heratti design which is found in most Senneh kilims, the outer design is on a dark indigo blue ground and the inner medallion design is on a ivory ground. The use of yellow in the border contrasts well with the indigo blue field.
Excellent condition with very slight even wear.
A fine kilim suitable for light domestic floor use.
Hand washed and ready for use or display.
