Description

Size: 4ft 5in x 3ft 0in (135 x 92cm).

Antique Turkish Mafrash panels in cicim technique.

Circa 1900.

East Anatolian mafrash (bedding or storage bag), the side panels and base have been opened up to make a small kilim. The side panels are in cicim technique (embroidered) and the base is in plain flat weave.

Excellent condition with slight wear, there is a small patch repair to the flat weave panel.

Hand washed and ready for use or display.
