Description

A beautiful old piece with wonderful dyes and a charming decorative design. Soft velvety wool, and a floppy handle. Some condition issues but still very usable. Probably pre-commercial weaving by the Kurds of Persia dating to around 1880. Spacious repeat lattice design on a sapphire field is complemented by the archaic borders. A very charismatic piece.
