Antique Caucasian Shirvan Marasali rug with repeat design.

Circa 1890.

A beautiful fine rug with a repeat design of latch hook medallions, each one of unique colour and design. The border is the traditional Marasali bird border that is often found on the well known Marasali prayer rugs.

The rug is of very fine weave, it has even wear with low pile. The rug retains parts of the original end finishes at both ends.

Hand washed and ready for use or display.
