I have never come across a superb weaving like this before - made in two parts because of the narrow nomadic looms, and then expertly sewn together up the centre. With good underlay, this flat-weave can be used on the floor today in a modern setting and will look amazing. The pale, vegetable-dye, golden-yellow field has to be seen to be fully appreciated. A truly fabulous weaving.
