Antique Tabriz rug with all over Safavid inspired vase design.

Circa 1920.

The rug has a soft indigo blue field covered with a 'vase' design with floral palmettes and vines. The dark indigo blue border with floral design frames the rug well.

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile. The rug is of very fine weave with soft wool.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
