Size: 14ft 8in x 3ft 8in (446 x 113cm).

Antique North West Persian Sarab runner with a camel wool ground.

Circa 1880.

The runner is of classic design with four small ivory ground medallions containing a floral design, these are on a camel ground covered with a fine floral lattice. The ivory ground border and half medallions at the sides help give the runner a very light feel. The wool is very soft and the runner has a floppy handle.

The runner is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile. There are one or two scattered old repairs.

The runner is suitable for normal domestic use.

The runner has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
