Antique Persian Qum rug with all over floral design on an ivory ground.

Circa 1920.

The rug has an overall soft colour palette, with ivory, reds, pinks, greens and blues. The field design is very well drawn with large scale floral palmettes and leaves. The borders frame the rug very well and are also of a floral design.

The rug is in outstanding condition with slight wear and good fine pile of soft lambs wool.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use and has been hand washed.
