Size: 3ft 10in x 2ft 6in (118 x 76cm).

Antique Tekke Turkmen chuval with the Salor turreted gul design.

Circa 1825.

The chuval is well drawn with excellent colour. The design is 6 Salor turreted guls of a clear madder red field. The elem panel is the Tekke flowering shrub design. The chuval has cotton and crimson silk highlights through out. The chuval is complete with its original ivory plain weave back.

The chuval is in excellent condition with light even wear and good pile.

The chuval has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
