Size: 9ft 7in x 3ft 8in (292 x 112cm).

Antique Caucasian Chajli long rug with all triple medallion design.

Circa 1860.

A superb example of a Chajli long rug, with three large octagonal medallions on a soft madder red field framed by a classic border. The colours are outstanding with superb fully saturated dyes. The weave is fine with soft wool. There are minor re-weaves to the ends.

The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
