Description

This is a good pair of Antique Ardabil carpets dating from around 1920. Each carpet has a flowerhead medallion surrounded by vines and cartouche borders with an inscription to one end. The carpets have a subtle colour palette with a warm ivory field, ice blue medallion and shades of aubergine, teal blue and coral. They each measure 181 cms to 121 cms and are in excellent order with complete fringes and a soft even pile.
