Antique Caucasian Bordjalou Kazak prayer rug of traditional design and unusual colour palette, these are the most northerly of the Kazak rugs.

Circa 1880.

The rug is dated within the prayer niche.

The rug is sold in as found original condition, there is some heavy wear and losses to the sides and ends. The rug could be enjoyed as is, or is a suitable candidate for full restoration. The condition is reflected in the price.
