A superb quality French walnut and burr-walnut double bed in the empire style. With matching marble topped bedside cabinet.
c1890.
Very attractive rich figuring to the walnut veneers.
Decorated with very ornate high quality ormolu mounts.
Imposing tall headboard.
Floral marquetry inlaid design to the bow-fronted footboard.
Standing on turned tapering feet.

With custom made, solid pine bed slats.
A very striking elaborate bed and matching bedside cabinet of excellent quality, in a rich honey colour.
Completely dismantles into a headboard a footboard, two side-rails, the pine slats stack. Easy to assemble.

In excellent antique condition. Expected minor signs of age.
