A wonderful antique tribal caucasian rug woven in the Shirvan region, with a muted old palette of dyes, dating from around circa 1900-1910.  The condition is good, with much of the original ends/fringes in place and finely woven pile.  Professionally cleaned by ourselves and ready to be used on the floor with our excellent underlay we supply with every rug.Shirvan is a region of Azerbaijan in the southeastern Caucasus.
