Antique Kurdish village rug with interesting hooked medallion design.

Circa 1920.

A very good small Kurdish rug with two large hooked medallions on an ivory coloured field. The medallions are surrounded by a number of animals and birds. The rug retains its original end finishes at both ends.

The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
