Size: 3ft 7in x 2ft 10in (110 x 86cm).

Antique East Caucasian rug with 'Lesghi star' design.

Circa 1900.

A good small rug with a vertical row of four 'Lesghi' stars. The ivory stars stand out from the dark indigo blue background. The ivory border and pastel colours give the rug a light feel.

Excellent condition, even wear with medium pile.

Hand washed and ready for use or display.

The rug is suitable for light domestic use, or it would make a superb wall hanging.
