Antique Tekke Turkmen rug of classic design and superb madder red colour.

Circa 1900.

The rug has a traditional Tekke gul design with 3 rows of 10 guls. The rug is very well drawn with a classic 'sunburst' and octagon border. The rug has complete elem panels at both ends and the remains of a short kilim.

The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
