Antique Persian Heriz carpet with a traditional medallion design, soft red field colour with ivory spandrels. Classic dark indigo blue border that is very well drawn. The central medallion in dark indigo blue contrasts well with the field. The carpet has a wonderful range of colours that create a soft feel.

Circa 1900.

The Carpet is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile giving that lived with country house look.

This is a very good furnishing Heriz carpet.

The carpet is suitable for heavy domestic use.
