Description

This is a beautiful antique Kashan prayer carpet circa 1900 with fine hand woven detail. The carpet has a an attractively warm colour palette having a madder red field with central urns issuing flowers in blues, coral, indigo and ivory beneath the Mirhab framed by upper spandrels and indigo borders. This finely woven antique carpet has nice even wear overall with a low pile. It is a good size measuring 220 cms by 131 cms and would give a very characterful antique look to a room.
