Beautiful colourful antique Heriz runner woven around 1915-1920 full of great pinks, reds, blues, greens a stunning hall runner with a good pile! Request a home visit to arrange an ideal day and time for us to visit you to show you this antique Heriz runner in situ, so you can see if the size, colour and design works in your home.  We travel all over the UK helping customers and interior designers.

Heriz and Karaja are not far from the Azerbaijan Border so they draw influences from many Caucasian rugs and runners. They are easily recognisable with repeating medallions similar to those in caucasian rugs. The central motif is often the latch-hooked design motif or an eight-pointed star.  The village weavings of Karaja such as this runner often use a simpler repeating medallion design with a great array of colour.
