Description

This is a beautiful hand woven Saroukh carpet from West Persia which dates from around 1920. The carpet has a very pretty design with arching blooms and foliage and a wonderful rich bronze ground. The carpet also features ivory, indigo, deep jade and a duck egg blue. It is in excellent condition with soft lustrous pile and complete ends and selvedges.

It is a good size measuring 287 cms by 199 cms.
