Nice quality French Louis xvi style dressing table with a hinged top to reveal a central mirror and two storage areas, to the left and right.
Very elegant piece with its fine tapering legs, finished with brass caps.
The dressing table is in mahogany, with further mahogany veneers and banded inlays.
The mirror is original and in good condition without blemishing.
The two internal storage boxes have been lined with a water marked silk, which although vintage, I thought was nice to keep, so have left it...you are of course very welcome to remove it if you would rather.
There is a central leather embossed drawer slide for further surface area and a good size drawer below.
The right hand side also has a single drawer as the storage area above is just half depth, the left hand side storage being full depth so you have two false drawer fronts.
Flush finish to the drawer fronts on this dressing table.
Useful piece if you need a neat size dressing table, or if you need
...it to free stand or placed in a window but don''t want to block the view with a permanent mirror.
