This is a lovely antique 19th century mahogany dressing table with label for the company of druce & co baker street london. If you google them you will find a very interesting article on the connection between the eccentric 5th earl of portland and thomas charles druce said to be one & the same person and a lovely piece of history to go with this lovely quality mahogany dressing table that has a squared mirror within a mahogany frame on supports topped with finials and with a shaped back rail. The top has a moulded edge above a long drawer which is mahogany lined with brass handles and this is above a concave section that has two sliding tambor doors with small brass handles. It stands on squared tapering legs on castors.

It is in very good condition with a lovely colour and deep original patination to the mahogany. And I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.
