Antique south west Persian Qashqai tribal rug.

Circa 1900.

A good Qashqai rug with a single medallion containing the Qashqai emblem. The soft orange/red ground is covered with flowers, leaves and other tribal designs; the border is of the traditional pomegranate design.

Good condition with slight even wear, good pile. This is a very well made rug that will stand up to domestic use very well.

Hand washed and ready for use.
