Pretty Bakhtiari Carpet

1920 - 1940
Description

This is a delightful early 20th century Bakhtiari carpet with a beautiful colour palette in excellent order. The carpet has a lovely warm red field with a flowing floral design surrounded by multi floral borders. The rug has shades of jade green, indigo blue, pretty soft pinks and ivory throughout the piece. This has an excellent deep, soft pile and is in beautiful clean condition, ready for use. The carpet measures 202 cms by 161 cms.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
