Description

This is a very fine pair of Kashan rugs with stunning design and a very rare colour palette dating from around 1930. These intricately woven carpets have a beautiful duck egg blue field centred by a pictorial panel with urns issuing flowers surrounded by blossoming branches surmounted by a parrot. The warm ivory borders have further pictorial panels. The pair are in very good order throughout, they would look wonderful as wall hangings but would be equally attractive on the floor.
