Antique Timuri Baluch Saddle Bags, Opened for Display, Superb Condition, Late 19th Century.

Size: Opened 9ft 6in x 2ft 2in (290 x 67cm). Face size about 67 x 75cm.

Antique Timuri Baluch complete khorjin (pair of saddle bags).

Late 19th century.

This really outstanding Khorjin (saddlebags) has wonderful soft wool with great colours, it is of a traditional Timuri design. The saddle bags have been opened for display and could be used as a long narrow runner.

The plain weave back is stripped in tones of natural madder.

Excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile.

Hand washed and ready for display.
