Lovely quality French 1920''s mahogany and marquetry dressing table with lift top mirror.
Originally known as a ''coiffeuse'' as they were pieces used for doing ones hair or wig work...more typically used as ladies dressing tables these days!
Beautifully made and finished with marquetry to the top, inlaid to the sides and also with its original brass mounts.
You can lift the top centre section to open up the mirror, the left and right siders also open to give you further deep storage and there are also drawers.
The centre drawer opens with an additional leather and gilt tooled slide for further surface space.
Great decorative piece, but very practical too if you are looking to put your dressing table in a window, but don''t want to block light with a fixed mirror.
