Old Tekke Turkmen main carpet of very large size with 7 rows of 19 guls.
Circa 1930.
The carpet is very well made and has the traditional Tekke gul design on a rich red ground.
The carpet is in excellent condition with no wear and full pile.
Both ends retain the original large flatwoven end finishes which have embroidered decoration.
The carpet is suitable for heavy domestic use such as a dining room or living room.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
