Description

This is a fine quality antique Kashan carpet from Central Persia which dates from around 1920. The carpet is exceptionally well drawn with a fineness to the curvaceous classical vine and flower filled design. It has a warm red ground centred by an indigo and ivory medallion, framed by ornate spandrels and indigo palmette borders. This finely woven carpet is in lovely clean condition ready to use. This is a great room size measuring 370 cms by 265 cms and would add an air of quality and distinction to a room.
