Antique North West Persian rug from the village of Seraband with an unusual all over boteh design.

Circa 1900.

This is an interesting rug with an all over small boteh design on a deep indigo blue ground. Antique Serabend rugs of this size are scarce and seldom seen today.

The border has a well-drawn floral design on an ivory ground, typical of this village.

The rug is in good condition with some wear and medium pile. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use. A very attractive furnishing rug.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
