Antique Baluch camel ground prayer rug with tree of life on a camel ground, Northern Afghanistan.
Late 19th century.
This is a very sweet small prayer rug with a classic tree of life on a camel ground. The tree is surrounded by an inner border of eight point stars. The hand placements also contain a star design, with two stars on the left and three on the right.
The rug is in good condition with even wear, and medium pile.
The rug has been hand washed and ready for use or display.
The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
